Margaret Koch, BS, Executive Director

Margaret has a deep understanding and passionate commitment to the Healing Garden which stems from a long and active role as an officer on the Board of Directors. She brings great enthusiasm and expertise to implement the strategic plans for expanding The Garden to include all those affected by cancer, and those interested in learning to live well. She previously served as the Manager of Cancer Services at the Mass General Cancer Center at Emerson Hospital-Bethke, following many years in clinical trials research in the field of oncology. Catherine Longwell, BA, Development Associate

Catherine recently joined the Healing Garden staff to assist with fundraising, development, and events. She spent the last four years at Brandeis University’s Women’s Studies Research Center in project and program management. Prior to Brandeis, Catherine served on the board of the Acton-Boxborough United Way and thanks to that experience, remains committed to local, impactful, philanthropy. Brianne Carter, LICSW, MTS, OSW-C, Director of Clinical Care

Brianne brings an expansive breadth of experience and expertise to help support our growing client community and foster the expansion of our remarkable programs and therapeutic services. Following a Masters Degree in Theology from Harvard and a Masters in Social Work from Smith School for Social Work, Brianne worked in community mental health, Emerson Hospital, and the Mass General Cancer Center at Emerson Hospital-Bethke. Christine Zinke, MA, LICSW,  Clinical Care Specialist

Christine comes to The Healing Garden with extensive experience in group, individual, family and couples therapy for adults and adolescents. She brings compassion and empathy to her mindful work with clients.  Along with this she is a Level 2 Shamanic Reiki practitioner. In the past she served as the Program Director for The Renfrew Women’s Mental Health Center of New Jersey.  Christine@HealingGardenSupport.org

Shannon Kelley, BA, Business Manager & CFO

In 2019, after 12 years, Shannon retired as the CFO for the Paper Store, where she focused on corporate development, finance, accounting, audit, and compliance. She is a creative problem-solver who excels at guiding teams through challenging projects. Throughout her career, she has been a board member for various corporations and is currently a board member for the Retail Association of MA. She has always remained passionate about non-profit organizations and is currently in her sixth year as a board member for the Harvard Farmers Market. Shannon@HealingGardenSupport.org

Kelly Marchand, BS, Integrative Care Coordinator

Kelly joined the Healing Garden in May 2015. She is our primary contact and liaison for our clients and therapists, providing insight into our programs and services, schedules appointments and manages the myriad of activities and operations on a daily basis.  Kelly’s warm and gentle demeanor makes everyone feel welcome at the Healing Garden. Erin Raber, MA, MT-BC, Clinical Care Specialist and Music Therapist 

Erin is a music therapist, clinical mental health counselor, and certified sound healing practitioner based in Boston, MA. She recently completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Music Therapy at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Erin’s expressive, voice-based music therapy approach combines theories and ideas from transpersonal and psychodynamic frameworks and ancient and modern music and sound healing techniques from a variety of Indigenous and non-Western cultures. She has also received accreditation through the California Institute of Integral Studies in Sound, Voice, and Music Healing and the Vox Mundi School of Sound and the Voice, and vocal training at the California Jazz Conservatory. Erin@HealingGardenSupport.org

Julianne Corey, Expressive Arts Therapy Intern, Lesley University

Julianne is a dancer and a writer. Trained in the Nia Technique (Black belt), yoga therapeutics, and the MFA in Creative Writing, her work is fueled by a desire to support coming home to the body and living into our full expressive selves. She is currently completing the MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy at Lesley University, where she is also serving as adjunct faculty and academic advisor for Lesley’s Center for the Adult Learner.
