Margaret Koch, BS, Executive Director

Margaret has a deep understanding and passionate commitment to the Healing Garden which stems from a long and active role as an officer on the Board of Directors. She brings great enthusiasm and expertise to implement the strategic plans for expanding The Garden to include all those affected by cancer, and those interested in learning to live well. She previously served as the Manager of Cancer Services at the Mass General Cancer Center at Emerson Hospital-Bethke, following many years in clinical trials research in the field of oncology. Maddie Phadke, MBA Director of Development

Maddie has more than a decade of experience in non profit fundraising, development and event management.  Prior to joining the Healing Garden she was Director of Development at The Nature Connection, in Concord, Ma,  she served as the Director at The Sustainable Business Network of MA, based in Cambridge, MA, where she led the corporate sponsorship program, expanded foundation support, and coordinated large-scale events including international conferences and The Boston Local Food Festival.  Maddie has a B.A. in Economics from Fergusson in India and an MBA in Marketing. Brianne Carter, LICSW, MTS, OSW-C, Co-Director of Integrative Care

Brianne brings an expansive breadth of experience and expertise to help support our growing client community and foster the expansion of our remarkable programs and therapeutic services. Following a Masters Degree in Theology from Harvard and a Masters in Social Work from Smith School for Social Work, Brianne worked in community mental health, Emerson Hospital, and the Mass General Cancer Center at Emerson Hospital-Bethke. Christine Zinke, LICSW,  Co-Director of Integrative Care

Christine comes to The Healing Garden with extensive experience in group, individual, family and couples therapy for adults and adolescents. She brings compassion and empathy to her mindful work with clients.  Along with this she is a Level 2 Shamanic Reiki practitioner. In the past she served as the Program Director for The Renfrew Women’s Mental Health Center of New Jersey.  Christine@HealingGardenSupport.org

Business manager at Healing Garden Cancer Center

Alison Peterson, BS, Business Manager

Alison joined The Healing Garden in January 2013. For the past decade, she has been a volunteer board member for several nonprofits — including the Arlington Education Foundation and John A. Bishop Parent Teacher Organization. Her career spans from working as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young to serving as the treasurer for several political campaigns in Massachusetts; and she is thrilled that it has ultimately brought her to work at The Healing Garden. Kelly Marchand, BS, Executive Assistant and Care Coordinator

Kelly joined the Healing Garden in June 2015. She is our primary contact and liaison for our clients and therapists, providing insight into our programs and services, schedules appointments and manages the myriad of activities and operations on a daily basis.   Kelly’s warm and gentle demeanor makes everyone feel welcome at the Healing Garden. Lauren Pratt, Expressive Arts Therapy Intern

Lauren comes to the Healing Garden as an intern with the Lesley University Expressive Art Therapy graduate program.  After working at the Dana Farber Gynecologic Oncology intake department, she was led to hands-on holistic care.  As a lifelong participant in the many forms of therapeutic artistic expression, she maintains an abiding curiosity in both new and ancient methods of connecting with the soul.  Lauren is an avid singer-songwriter with over 15 years’ experience performing, and has won multiple competitions for her songwriting.  As a volunteer with Musicians on Call, she provides bedside music for hospitalized veterans in Boston. Lauren@healinggardensupport.org
