Cancer Counseling

Individual/Family Counseling

Counseling can help ease the emotional difficulties a cancer diagnosis generates. The goal of counseling is self-exploration that creates a healing alliance between mind and body. Our culture often tells us we should “do it on our own,” but clients find great benefit in working with a skilled therapist and/or a supportive group. They often experience greater emotional ease; find their resilience and personal strength growing; take on positive new behaviors; and move beyond previous limitations in thought or attitude and toward greater well-being.

Our therapists offer counseling services on a sliding scale and many accept insurance coverage

Spiritual Companioning

Spiritual Companioning offers a safe and confidential space for the development and growth of spiritual well-being and healing. Sessions involve a discovery, exploration and development of life’s deepest longings, the chance to learn and engage spiritual practices or resources, and the opportunity to identify the source and foundation of one’s own spiritual truth or wisdom.
