These unique body:brain classes offer time and space to be in community and reduce the sensation of social isolation that many of us feel. Movements address joint mobility, spinal flexibility, coordination, bone density, balance, awareness, confidence, and overall health. This Music and Movement experience is grounded in the science of neuroplasticity – the basic idea that the brain and nervous system can change form and function. This program is offered in a playful, light-hearted way with upbeat music from the 1950s to today to foster a sense of community, joy and ease. Class will close with a relaxing mediation and a bit of time for connection.
Open to clients, caregivers and bereaved members. Free program with optional donations accepted at registration. This program will meet IN PERSON at the Healing Garden.
*Every BODY is welcome. These movements are done predominantly seated and accessible to most everyone.
