Yoga Workshop: Inhabiting Our Changing Bodies with More Ease and Kindness

Cancer changes our bodies, and just as significantly, how we feel about them and in them. Disappointment, frustration, and impatience are not the only options. Acceptance, ease, and pleasure are possible! In this yoga workshop, we use “outer practices”–gentle yoga postures–to positively affect our physical and energetic states, and layer within them “inner practices”–breathwork and compassion phrases–to positively affect our emotional and mental states. Join us for this creative, layered process of embodiment and acceptance and come away with tools to support a renewed appreciation for your body, and a sense of wholeness, no matter your current condition.

Facilitator Bio:

She is also a Buddhist practitioner and Certified End-of-Life Doula interested in normalizing aging, sickness, and death as parts of a nevertheless joyous life.
