Join us for a virtual information session to learn more about Grief in Motion, a new program developed by E-Motion and offered by The Healing Garden beginning in September 2026.
Grief in Motion is a six-week facilitated movement series for anyone grieving the death of a loved one due to any cause. Each week, we’ll meet at a trailhead in Harvard or nearby town, gather in community for an opening circle, and walk 2–3 miles together in nature.
Come discover how movement, community, and ritual can support connection and coping.
Open to Healing Garden clients, caregivers, and bereaved members.
Facilitated by: Meredith Hobson, LICSW and Norie Mozzone, MA
E-Motion, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and was founded by a bereaved mom who loves to run and couldn’t find what she was looking for when her daughter, Havi, died. She created the Movement Community, a movement-based and peer-led grief experience. This is a 6-8 week in-person experience that brings together a local group of 15–20 individuals who have experienced the life-disrupting loss of a person. Each group is led by a trained E-Motion facilitator and blends movement—such as walking, hiking, or running—with shared ritual and reflection, creating space for grievers to connect and move with others who get it.
