Curious about what Forest Bathing is? Find out about this popular approach to wellness where no towel is required! The Japanese practice of Forest Bathing or Shinrin Yoku began in the 1980’s in an effort to combat the negative effects of depression, anxiety, and stress. Many cultures have long recognized the importance of the natural world to human health. Forest bathing is not just for the wilderness-lover; the practice can be as simple as walking in any natural environment and consciously connecting with what’s around you.
