Bluebirds have been considered a symbol of joy, happiness, and hope since ancient times and in many world cultures. They remind us to be grateful for the blessings in our lives that make us happy!
As we welcome spring, considered a natural time of hope, we’ll explore some of these ideas while using watercolors, ink doodling, and bluebirds as our muse, to wander into a state of Creative Mindfulness. No special skills or ‘art’ experience is needed.

Open to Healing Garden clients. Registration is required and space is limited. Optional donations are accepted at registration. This program will meet onsite at the Healing Garden.

About the Facilitator: A metastatic cancer survivor since 2011, Karen Arsenault has found the creative process invaluable in navigating the fear and uncertainty of the cancer journey. Through the many expressive arts workshops she has participated in, Karen developed a passion for watercolors and now gives back by developing and facilitating her own Creative Mindfulness workshops and donating her art in several forms to The Healing Garden.
