Men’s Needs Assessment

The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden, a cancer support community in Harvard, MA, is an independent nonprofit organization that provides both onsite and virtual support/services to Massachusetts adults with any type/stage of cancer, their caregivers, and those bereaved from cancer.  This includes low to no-cost offerings in the areas of movement and nutrition, expressive arts, bodywork, support groups, meditation/mindfulness, and education.

While we offer services for adults of any gender, we are currently assessing the specific needs of men facing cancer. If you’re an adult male that’s faced a cancer diagnosis, we would deeply appreciate you taking our brief 2-3 minute survey (see link below).  Your anonymous response will assist us in providing the optimum set of services and support to address some of the specific challenges men face in their cancer experience.
