This four-week series is an invitation to your imagination. We will explore the expressive arts with our focus on process and play, and our intention to use our senses and see what arises. Each of the four playgrounds will offer a different experience, allowing one creative art form to fertilize another. Each meeting will have roots in some form of writing, none of which is formal and all of which is grounded in non-judgement. There may be movement, photography, visual arts, music, sound, and storytelling. In the Healing Playground we can be mindful, bodyful, and soulful. Together, we will create a space that is inspirational, reflective, cathartic, and FUN.
Join us in the Healing Playground to feel a sense of grounding, nourishment, and expansion.
This class is offered as a series, but you are welcome to register for a session if you are unable to join for the entire series.
Free program with optional donations accepted at registration. Open to clients, caregivers and bereaved members.
*This program takes place in-person at the Healing Garden. In the event of inclement weather, we will switch to a virtual format.

Norie Mozzone, Clinical Intern
Norie is in her final year of pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Lesley University with a specialization in expressive arts therapies. Using a person-centered, holistic approach, Norie brings a blend of somatic practices, the arts, and mindfulness through the Buddhist tradition to cultivate awareness and expression of one’s inner landscape. Norie emphasizes a collaborative approach with a commitment to honoring everyone’s stories and offers an opportunity to recognize and build on their own resources and strengths. At her previous internship, Norie continued to learn how to show up in the present moment as she supported people living with dementia. Prior to this path, Norie spent 25 years in the non-profit sector in fundraising and program management. Norie is honored and grateful for her opportunity at The Healing Garden.
