In this series, we will find a comfortable position (this can be sitting, standing, or lying), slowly bringing alert attention to our body and breath. By bringing attention to our stillness (grounding) & breathing (expanding) we are practicing the mindset of calm, alert, and presence. Through this focus, we are more likely to experience a break from the excessive mental chatter of the thinking mind. This practice can cultivate greater perspective and equanimity. The sessions will include guided meditation, silent meditation, simple breathing exercises & ideas for incorporating mindfulness into your life between sessions. Each session can stand alone – you don’t have to attend them all. Appropriate for all levels.
