Come meet other Healing Garden clients and enjoy bonding over a great book.  This group will meet once a month IN PERSON at The Healing Garden starting back in the fall.  Open to clients, caregivers and bereaved members.  Free program with optional donation.

Summer Read – Rough Sleepers by Tracy Kidder

The powerful story of an inspiring doctor who made a difference, by helping to create a program to care for Boston’s homeless community (this  book will be discussed at the start of the fall meeting).

Fall Read – Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout – meeting date tbd

Olive Kitteridge” is a Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Elizabeth Strout, published in 2008, which explores the life of Olive, a retired schoolteacher in a small Maine town. The novel is structured as a series of interconnected stories that delve into the complexities of human relationships, loss, and the passage of time. A critically acclaimed HBO miniseries adaptation starring Frances McDormand was released in 2014.
