The Healing Garden invites you to spend one Sunday afternoon a month experiencing talented musicians and dancers that perform in our annual concert series (Sept-June). All concerts are open to the public; $15 at the door cash or check. All proceeds directly benefit our clients.

OCTOBER 20: The Rafters
The Rafters are a folk-pop singer / songwriter duo of Miki and Dave Fitzgibbons. Miki’s compelling lead vocals and thoughtfully crafted lyrics are backed by husband Dave’s atmospheric guitar and vocal harmonies. www.theraftersmusic.com
NOVEMBER 17: Just In Time
The Just in Time Jazz group is a quartet comprised of musicians from Indian Hill Music that have been playing together for 5 years. Backing up Jan Hadland on vocals, there’s Ken Nevard on drums, Sue Lamontagne on keyboards and George Bibler on bass. Their music presents a wide range of jazz standards.
DECEMBER 8: Liofa Irish Music Trio
Enjoy an afternoon of traditional Irish dance music and songs, with a few holiday carols and solstice songs added in. Traditional Irish trio Líofa is comprised of Kathleen Guilday, Irish harp; Sarah Martin, vocals, fiddle, guitar and viola; and Laurel Martin, fiddle, vocals and guitar. Líofa is the joyful partnership of friendship and family born of a shared love and deep appreciation for the Irish musical tradition. The term líofa (Irish for “fluent”) celebrates the proficiency with which Laurel, Sarah and Kathleen produce their eloquent, expressive blend of melodies and harmonies.
February 9: La Rondinella
La Rondinella’s versatile repertoire includes classical, latin, pop and world music. Flutist Claire Rindenello studied at the Crane School of Music in New York; Steve Abrams has played guitar for more than 35 years; and Maria Rindenello-Spraker is a dynamic harpist and an accomplished accompanist. www.larondinella.us
February 23: Toosday Toons
Toosday Toons is a jam group based in Acton, MA USA that gets together every Tuesday evening for a few hours to share acoustic music: bluegrass, country, folk, swing and anything else we can find and play. Over the years we’ve been asked to play at churches, anniversary parties, weddings, farmer’s markets and six Porchfests. www.toosdaytoons.org
MARCH 15: The Saturdays
The Saturdays have made audiences sing, laugh, cry and tap their feet all over Metro West with a blend of three-part harmony vocals, stringed instruments and world percussion. Join The Saturdays for an afternoon of contemporary folk and bluegrass. The Saturdays Facebook page
APRIL 19: Cynthia Forbes
Cellist Cynthia Forbes performs in chamber and orchestral ensembles throughout New England and is an enthusiastic advocate for both classical and contemporary repertoire. She has appeared as soloist with the New England String Ensemble, Boston Virtuosi, Syracuse Camerata and other ensembles, and served as principal cellist with these and many other orchestras. MAY 17: Bob Lucas of Pan Loco Steel Band
Pan Loco Steel Band has been bringing the sweet sounds of the Caribbean to New England since 1991. The repertoire is authentic and appropriate for all ages. When you hear this music, you’ll feel like you’re on a slow boat to Saint Thomas — It’s the real thing! www.panloco.com
