This workshop will focus on the causes and effects of neuropathy experienced by cancer patients (most commonly related to chemotherapy). Dr. Forst additionally will review principles underlying neuropathy evaluation and management, with the goal of improving patients’ symptoms and quality of life.
Open to Healing Garden clients and caregivers. Free program with optional donations accepted.

Dr. Forst is a Neuro-Oncologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, and Associate Program Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital/Dana Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham & Women’s Hospital Neuro-Oncology Fellowship Program. She conducts innovative research aimed at designing and testing interventions to support patients with brain tumors and their family caregivers.
