1 part dance party + 1 part mindfulness = Moving to Heal: a gentle and uplifting movement practice with the goal of feeling better. In this weekly program, you can expect to safely explore form and freedom and to connect to pleasurable movement, and release stress. These sessions will integrate simple movement patterns drawn from dance, martial arts, and somatics, set to music, and designed to enhance personal expression, increase energy and mood.
Join us to move in community and reconnect with yourself. Show up with your scars, your discomfort, your highs & lows, and your desire for joy. Adjust to change by using awareness to modify your movements. Accessible to all; no prior experience necessary. Camera on or off — your choice! Moving to Heal is a gentle approach to Nia. Open to clients, caregivers, providers, and staff.
