In this 6-week series, we will explore the use of mindfulness practices for addressing stress, anxiety, and fear. Each session will include a 20-minute meditation followed by open discussion. Bree will also provide instruction on how our minds process emotions. For example, why are some emotions, such as fear, difficult to manage? What is thought suppression, and why is it an ineffective strategy for coping with anxiety? Participants are encouraged to begin a daily 10-minute meditation and/or journaling practice over the course of the six weeks.
