Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is an easy-to-learn mind/body skill that can be used to reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and relieve emotional or physical pain. In this 1-hour training, you will:
- Learn about EFT and its uses
- Get an introduction to the science of EFT
- Practice the EFT tapping technique
- Gain a powerful skill to use anytime!
This class will meet on Zoom. Open to Healing Garden clients, caregivers, and the general public. Free program with optional donation.
Led by – Renee LaFountain is a licensed mental health clinician (LMHC) with a passion for helping people to access their innate healing capacity through a mind/body/spirit approach. Using mind/body techniques, such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT – tapping), mindfulness, guided imagery, and meditation, alongside traditional talk therapy, she assists clients in using their strengths to increase wellness and to feel more empowered in their lives. Renee provides a safe space that enables clients to express themselves authentically, understand themselves more fully, and heal more deeply. Currently, Renee works in a group private practice – Bay State Counseling & Wellness Center – splitting her time between working with clients and serving as the practice’s Clinical Director. In her free time, Renee enjoys spending time in nature, reading, and snuggling with her cat, Bagheera.
